Kim Viljac
Market Manager

Kim has served as Market Manager since the fall of 2010. She has called the Lowcountry home for almost 20 years. Kim is originally from South Florida and received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida. She lives in Bluffton with her husband Thomas and their two sons, Mac and Ben. She enjoys sharing her passion of healthy living and community spirit with others. When she is not fostering relationships with local farmers, businesses, and other non-profit organizations, Kim can be found on the water enjoying the lowcountry’s beautiful rivers, beaches, marshes, and sandbars with family and friends.

I grew up in South Carolina in a small, rural, "emotionally-connected" town and have been vegetarian for 26 years.  I was taught to wake up in the morning, brush your teeth, wash your face and GIVE BACK TO YOUR COMMUNITY! When the Bluffton Farmer's Market became supported by the Rotary Club three years ago, I knew right away I wanted my seven year old boy, Cody and I to get involved.  I was so impressed with the energy of the board and their dedication to do "great things" for our community.  Since that first beautiful Thursday morning at the Oyster Company, my boy and I have been the ones to be blessed by our involvement with all the special vendors and great folks in our town that keep supporting the market!
